I agree about this feature. Although I got access to Spotify for Artists somewhat fast, when I claimed my YT Artist Channel I never got a reply from Soundrop even 3 months later.

I think everything is very bad with YouTube. There is a feeling that this is a deception with the assignment of a content ID. There are no violations when uploading tracks to YouTube and income distribution is not active.There is no support service.
