One of the reasons I almost always request that the Soundrop team edit a piece of metadata is because often when an artist does it on the back end, the release date will update and reflect the date of the new metadata, not the original release date. This prompts another support ticket to get that corrected. It would be helpful to have some sort of ticker when updating metadata to keep the original release date.
